COMPANY BLOG: B dynamic Logistics has been included in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 awards, amongst Australia’s top ranking fastest growing tech companies. This is the only program in Australia where eligibility is based on both technology and revenue growth. To qualify, a company must show a three-year cumulative growth of at least $8 million. This award comes just one month after B dynamic Logistics won the award for Industry Excellence at the prestigious Australian Supply Chain and Logistics Awards 2022.
“Being placed in the Deloitte top 50 is an amazing achievement and one that we are truly honoured to receive,” B dynamic Logistics cofounder and CEO, Mal Siriwardhane said.
“This award ranks the nation’s top 50 public and private tech companies based on percentage revenue growth over three years (2020 to 2022). B dynamic Logistics placed 37th amongst the top 50 in Australia, highlighting our outstanding three-year growth figure of 336 percent.”
As Australia’s leading logistics and ecommerce provider, B dynamics Logistics offers a range of third party logistics services including ecommerce enablement and fulfilment, warehousing and logistics solutions. Servicing nationally recognized companies such as Costco, Dettol, QANTAS, Dymocks, DoorDash, Gillette and many more, B dynamic Logistics works with businesses to design and develop flexible logistics solutions to meet their specific needs to ensure the prompt and cost effective delivery of products to their customers.
National recognition
“While Tech Fast 50 is about recognising some of Australia’s biggest movers and shakers, it’s also a fantastic opportunity to uncover the tastes, trends and technology resonating with consumers and shaping our future. Put simply, it tells us where Australia’s tech sector is now, where it’s heading and who’s taking us there,” Deloitte Technology Fast 50 leader, Josh Tanchel said.
“Based on three-year growth, the 2022 program is arguably our toughest yet: it covers a tumultuous period punctuated by the pandemic, floods, international conflict, rising inflation and interest rates, and concerns of a global recession. But despite such acute challenges, Australian tech companies have proven resilient. This year Tech Fast 50 continues to break records and demonstrates the sector’s ongoing ability to compete on a global scale.”
Attaining the company vision
“B dynamics Logistics has always pursued and attained outstanding achievements, made possible by our unrelenting pursuit of customer service excellence,” Siriwardhane said.
“Our vision to become the leader in ecommerce logistics by helping our customers to grow is rapidly coming to fruition as we continue to invest in our business and excel across a broad range of disciplines.
“Our growth mindset is what sets us apart, and gaining national recognition through Deloitte’s Top 50 awards is testimony to our strength and limitless potential as a company. Large businesses often struggle to adapt to changes swiftly, which can significantly impact their business bottom line figure. B dynamic Logistics’ mission is to provide them with flexibility and innovation to solve their challenges and achieve success.
“While we are a logistics company, our entire business is underpinned by our groundbreaking technology and our service mentality is spearheaded by our forward thinking customer oriented team which continually works hard to find better and different ways of improving our service offerings for our clients.
“I am really proud of our people, our business and our clients who make our operations possible. Not only do we have the greatest team in the industry, we also have the highest percentage of women working in our business in a broad range of roles including leadership and executive positions. We are at 50 percent which is excellent considering the industry average is two percent globally.”
Forecast for 2023 and beyond: bright future for B dynamic Logistics
“We are frequently faced with doom and gloom forecasts for a 2023 recession; however, I am pleased to say that within the transport and logistics industries, we are looking forward to continued growth and acceleration,” Siriwardhane said.
“In fact, Forbes Australia expects our sector to grow approximately $171.9 billion by 2027, while our workforce is set to increase by 4.6 percent. We are very optimistic about B dynamic Logistics’ future and I have no doubt that whatever challenges come our way in 2023 and beyond, our ability to think flexibly and innovate is what’s going to carry us through and continue to drive our growth.”
